Pink Visual urges you: please donate to the Kimberly Kupps legal defense fund

If you’re familiar with the history of Pink Visual, then you know we are always happy to support a good cause. When that good cause also happens to be related to the adult entertainment industry, we have all the more reason to step up to the plate, and to encourage others to do the same.

This is one of those causes: the Kimberly Kupps Legal Defense Fund.

Why is this a worthy cause?

The short answer is that all Kimberly and her husband have done is to produce and distribute adult entertainment, which is precisely what we do here at Pink Visual, too. We justĀ  happen to do it in jurisdictions that don’t have anti-First Amendment crusaders heading up their local law enforcement agencies. So far as I’m aware, there is no suggestion that Kimberly or her husband forced any person to do anything against their will, including the members of law enforcement who downloaded the videos that form the basis of these charges.

In short, their “crime” amounts to recording sex acts, and then selling those recordings on a website to adults who specifically want those videos. Even if you are the sort of person that believes that making porn should be illegal (and if you are, what the hell are you doing reading this blog?), you have to admit, it’s not exactly Al Capone territory we’re talking about here.

The long answer to why this is a worthy cause is… well, something I’m not going to get started on a rant about, because if I do, there’s a real danger that this post might evolve into a book that nobody would ever read. ;-)

The bottom line, from my perspective: if you enjoy adult entertainment, and support the right of other adults to do the same, then Kimberly’s cause is your cause, too.

Can they do a counter claim for not following the law of the land (what you guys call the 1st-amendment) and ain’t the evidence inadmissible because they downloaded evidence directly from the source? I’m not sure what the rules are like over but out rightly it sounds like a big stinking pile of B.S.

Keep fighting and don’t back down.

Now that’s sblute! Great to hear from you.

  3. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good success. If you know of any please share. Cheers!

  6. I was suggested this website by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my difficulty. You are wonderful! Thanks!

  7. I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

  8. Greetings! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could locate a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having problems finding one? Thanks a lot!
